Mechanical Stimuli: This refers to the response of the explosive when it is subjected to motion, impact, or friction. When the explosives are stored or being transported, they might be subjected to different sorts of friction to impacts. This can be a cause for explosion hence it is essential to determine the response of the explosive to the mechanical stimuli to make proper arrangements. 
Along with that, there are also many other factors such as the Mass explosion of a single package, propagation potential, and propagation rate of explosion from a packaged or non packaged article. The mass explosion, danger projection, radiant heat, and other dangerous factors included when the packages are introduced to fire. Most of the civil explosives are required to be marked with a unique identification number which can be traced when needed. 

There are also limitations imposed on the storage of the number of explosives in one place according to their level of danger. It also needs a license.
